We made it!

Although things were a bit crazy with traffic and our caravan of two 26 foot Penske trucks and our truck pulling our camper

we arrived safely around noon on Tuesday April 4th.

Then we had to rush to unload the trucks before 3pm Wednesday because thunderstorms and threats of tornadoes came in to welcome us.  And although we didn’t have 18 people helping us unload (like we did when we were loading), the Lord still blessed us and we got it done and had the trucks returned in time.  In fact, we were at a mexican restaurant when the storm hit, and this is picture that was taken across the street from us

and again God blessed us and kept us safe.  The funnel cloud never actually touched down but it was pretty disturbing to think that it was right across the street from us.

Since then we started homeschooling and trying to unpack.  Thank God my father-in-law came with us for 2 weeks and helped us unpack and rearrange.   Although we had a few hiccups, like our cabin has no water, God has connected us to many great Christians who have offered help.

Thankfully, with their help, we were able to finally move into our little cabin.    Although because it is so windy, we had to close in the cabin.

Before (with the cabinets we wanted on the porch all blown over)                                    and after with the porch closed in

The girls got to fish in our pond and they both caught several fish.

We miss everyone from home.
